Comprehensive Cleanliness Campaign in Resunga, Gulmi

A large-scale cleanliness campaign was carried out at the renowned religious and tourist destination of Resunga in Gulmi.

The cleaning initiative covered areas from Resunga Pond, through the Yagyashala, to the View Tower. In addition to the cleanliness effort, 11 sets (33 units) of dustbins for segregating biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and metal waste were distributed at the main rest areas.

Shubhlakshmi Pharma & Clinic, on the occasion of its annual celebration, contributed to this effort as part of its corporate social responsibility. Founder Chairman Home Bahadur Palli Thapa stated that the organization’s support aimed to contribute to the development of a place that holds deep religious significance and trust for the community.

Additionally, for the convenience of visitors, four five-seat iron benches were placed for resting along the path to the Yagyashala, and hot water bags were provided to the priests and gurus in the area.

Palli emphasized the collective responsibility of preserving the identity of Resunga, urging everyone to contribute to its cleanliness: "Resunga is a symbol of identity for all of us. Let’s keep it clean or at least not pollute it," he remarked. He further expressed the institution's commitment to continuing its support in the future to protect religious and tourist heritage sites.

During the event, employees who excelled in their performance were recognized. Nirajan Adhikari, Ravikant Tiwari, and Pabitra Nepali were awarded as top performers based on their work performance and evaluations. The awards were presented by Amritadevi Kunwar, the Deputy Mayor of Resunga Municipality, and Chairman Palli Thapa.

The clinic also honored various organizations and individuals who have supported their work over time. Senior Manager Rajendra Vishwakarma highlighted that the organization regularly conducts free screening camps, health clinics, first-aid station setups for social organizations, and offers free treatments for the underprivileged and disaster-stricken citizens as part of its ongoing social responsibility efforts.

Sureshchandra Bhusal, Chairman of the Resunga Conservation Committee, thanked Shubhlakshmi Pharma & Clinic for its contributions, encouraging all organizations to follow their example and support Resunga’s development as part of their corporate social duties.
